Patch 5.11 is the next patch coming to Smite. Going from the previous patch releases, this patch will be released on PC and console on Tuesday 26th June, although there have been no official announcements.
Aurora: Awakening is the first set of collections towards the Legendary Trinket, Aurora. For information on how to get started with this collection process, please see my Aurora Introduction post here. I have also written collection guides for Bloodstone Fen Master, Ember Bay Master, Lake Doric Master and Draconis Mons Master.
Smite patch 5.10 has been announced and should be with us on 12th June for both PC and console. No official release date has been announced, but this is an estimate from the previous two releases since the change in Patch schedule.
*Edit: 5.10 will be released on PC on 12th June, but a console date has not been announced yet. I’ll update when I hear more.
My monthly summary is back for the May edition! Personally, this month has been a huge month for gaming both for announcements/releases and purchases, probably due to the Humble Bundle Spring Sale.
Over the past few months, Hi-Rez began another community competition for the next Halloween and Winter Skin. These contests have been taking place over the past few years, but after a tweet claiming Chef Vulcan to be the new community addition if it reached a certain number of retweets was successful, Smite fans became annoyed that a contest was not going to be held this year. To make up for this original idea, Hi-Rez announced that there would be a competition to decide on a new Halloween skin and a new Winter skin!
Generally I’m pretty good at being able to tell whether I’ll enjoy a game or not before I play it. Obviously there are a few I have doubts with, but typically if I don’t get into a game within the first few hours, I’ll give it a miss in the future.
Although I’m a fan of horror films, I haven’t had much experience with horror games. Saying that, I’m not a fan of the cheap horror techniques such as jump scares. I much prefer in depth, story driven, psychological horror so I tend to be quite picky and it’s rare I’ll find a horror that I thoroughly enjoy.
